A compact, low-maintenance variety of the winged saddle tree with dense, fine branches and small leaves.
To promote red autumn colour, the plant should be placed in full sun. Plants in too much shade will colour later in autumn and may lose their leaves before they turn bright red. This shrub is tolerant of most soils, except very wet ones. Fertilise in early spring. Tolerates pruning at any time, but best done in late autumn or winter.
