Sambucus nigra Aurea is a large bushy upright deciduous shrub. The pinnate leaves are a deep gold in spring and early summer fading with age. Small pretty scented creamy white flowers in summer followed by purple black fruits in autumn. Eventual height and spread 2.5 to 4 metres
